Join us at Nostos Coffee for a special public cupping event with Ebert Huaman of Finca Artemira, visiting the UK from Peru as part of a multi-city tour showcasing the coffees and story behind one of Cajamarca’s most exciting specialty coffee farms.

Over the evening, guests will have the opportunity to taste a curated lineup of coffees sourced directly from Finca Artemira. Explore the impact of processing and varietal selection across multiple lots, and hear firsthand about the farm’s journey into specialty coffee production.

Located in the highlands of Cajamarca at 1,700–1,900 metres above sea level, Finca Artemira spans 13 hectares and is built around a diverse mix of classic and high-performing coffee varietals. The farm operates within an agroforestry and shade-grown system, combining environmental stewardship with an ambitious focus on quality and innovation.

Ebert and his two brothers have spent the last eight years developing Finca Artemira into a recognised specialty coffee producer, experimenting with advanced processing techniques including multi-stage washed fermentations, anaerobic methods, and extended fermentation protocols. Before entering coffee full time, Ebert worked seasonally as a fisherman — a path that makes the farm’s rise in the specialty coffee world even more remarkable.
